FinTech Rising: How to create synergies with financial institutions

Webinar with Ventura Beat and Yodlee Interactive

May 20, 2015

Digital technologies and mobile apps are changing the face of financial services — it’s not an overstatement to say the industry is undergoing a major digital transformation. U.S. investment in fintech is accelerating rapidly and shows no sign of slowing down. As a result, traditional financial institutions and new digital fintech companies are beginning to realize they actually need one another to thrive. In this webinar, you’ll walk away with an understanding of the current fintech market conditions — how we got there — and exactly what’s needed to put this kind of symbiosis between traditional FIs and digital fintech startups into action. Collin Canright, Principal, Canright Communications, provides an overview followed by a discussion with Jason Henrichs, Managing Partner of the Kinetic Group and Co-Founder of FinTEx Chicago; Jason O’Shaughnessy, VP of International, Yodlee Interactive; and Jesse Podell, Co-Founder & COO, TechDay.

One of the highlights of that conference was how serious participants took the cryptocurrency bitcoin. The first FinTech Rising report and its focus on the the need for cooperation between challenger startups and incumbent startups grew from interviews and sessions during the conference.
